Online Privacy

Online privacy is being anonymous in situations needed and keeping you private information safe.

One of the biggest concerns when online is privacy in what you are doing and your private life being hidden from people you don't want to know in what you are doing, as well as keeping people you don't know off your online profiles and blogs. the internet has raised ethical problems with if people don't feel secure they wont use the internet, this means the creators of all websites like Facebook, Gmail and YouTube have to make sure all accounts have safety procedures set up to make sure onlyyou can access your account.

Privacy means anonymity in a situation that a person would like to remain anonymous,
(EG. Online chat rooms.)

Economical impacts

Economical effects
Economical impacts are the impacts that this has on the Eco-System/World

The economical affects of computers in the work place is that computers take electricity to help them work and to create electricity it is quite expensive. also to create a computer it takes allot of plastic, electric, metal time, glass and rubber which are not renewable resources. IT has changed the job industry in many of ways for example people who used to write books like authors now will use computers to make it easier  IT has revolutionized the job industry with factory's that can now make more products and there will be less time needed. the only problem with this is that's its expensive and it makes less jobs in factory because computers and machines do all the work the only jobs needed are technicians to keep the machine working. all these working machines create gas's and use up the world electricity supplies. this contributes towards global warming.

Equal Access

Equal rights is about people having different rights on the internet depending on Age,Gender, Provider and Income

The internet is full of information and other resources which can only be accesses by few people or can only be accessed at a cost, There are many of these areas online that people only have limited access to. People who have Fiber optic Broadband rather than Cable have internet speeds up to about 100MBit's a second where people who use a telephone cable have about 20MBit's a second which is a huge difference and allows people with fiber-optic internet More and faster access to the internet. The people with the slower internet suffer when there are multiple devices using the internet at once the download/upload speeds is shared between these devices which can severely slow down a households internet if there are several users online. It is unfair to the public to not be able to access certain places Like Facebook if your under 13.people who have a slow internet will have problems trying to watch HD videos on YouTube because there internet cannot download the places faster.
The older generation weren't brought up using technology so they are not as advanced with the technology that we use and they will have trouble learning it.
EG. Some online games are free with paid features and you have to pay to be able to get some of the items and parts of the game, like Runescape there is a Free2Play area and worlds and Pay2Play areas and worlds. Another example of this is programs online that you have a two week free trial with limited features then you have to pay for full unlimited access.

Copyright and Legal issues

Copyright is the rights to protect your work from being copied.

The 1976 Copyright Act provides that copyright protection against stealing. Copyright is the rights to copy a person’s original work. It is illegal to copy any work that you do not have the rights to share, copy or republish.  There are many ways that people get some Films, music, programs etc. without paying for them by illegally downloading them from the internet by many of ways one of which is torrenting. The problems with copyright not stopping people illegally downloading music and films is that film producers and musicians don’t get the money that they deserve for the product that they are trying to sell. When people upload to YouTube copyrighted content it just gives them a warning so the content is distributed and people can then illegally download it using websites online. When breaching the terms of copyright it can lead to fines your website being shut down or jail for breaching it. Also copyright problems may occur when people make remix’s of songs but sometimes the producers just let it go. 95% of music downloads in 2009 was illegal downloading.Copyright protects everything to do with the document/object that it is labeled to. Copyright does not protect an idea, ideas have to be put into material objects first.
